朱继善（笔名朱兵），号黄山之子。1942年出生于中国黄山市歙州，大专毕业。自幼喜爱书画，1959年开始从事艺术学习与创作至今，先后又在浙江美术学院等艺术院校和画院进修学习多年。60年代初曾拜艺术大师潘天寿先生为师，多次得到大师的指点与教诲，多次在国内举办个人画展,多幅作品被国家有关部委、博物馆、美术馆、纪念馆及加拿大、意大利、日本、台湾、香港等国内外高价收藏。作品获过省级及国家级金奖与一等奖,并有作品在日本东京及美国纽约展出并获金奖及终身成就奖。代表作有《水库晨曲》、《黄山云海》、碳素钢笔画《百村千幢图》百米长卷（110米）、中国画《梦游千里古徽州》百米长卷（268米）、《中国第一奇山——黄山》百米长卷（168米）。

碳素钢筆山水画《百村千憧图》百米长卷，由288张册页组成，创造了珍珠点的技法，用了5年的时间创作完成，据我所查有关资料，全球沒有钢筆画百米长卷，这是一幅全世界独一无二的珍品长卷。

中国画《梦游千里古徽州》百米长卷，用了111张八尺净皮宣纸连接而成总长268米，我创造了破筆积点法，整整用了10年的时间创作完成。这幅长卷是我用鲜血和生命换耒的，到徽州地区八个县写生，拍照，收集历史资料，翻车两次，差点把命献给美术事业。
