1945年生于上海。全国书画艺术委员会副主席、中国国礼艺术家、中国书画研究院院士、中国书画院高级美术师、中国文化产业促进会会员、中国国际艺术家协会终身顾问。

近年来热衷倡导“诗音画”艺术，是诗音画艺术的倡导者、实践者。乐于立足民间，以画会友，在系统及社区举办过画展多次。多幅作品在国内及国际书画大赛获金、银奖，并荣获“中国诗音画倡导者” “德艺双馨艺术家”“创新油画艺术家”“中华文化和谐使者”“海峡两岸文化交流大使”等称号。有大量诗音画作品及创新画论，刊登在《美术报》《中国艺术报》《今日中国》《世界知识画报》《新华网》《人民网》《央视网》等多家媒体。

另外近年来还有《新疆印记》《先驱诗人 殷夫》等文学专著出版。
